Important FAQs
Following a number of queries and concerns from supporters, together with positive engagement from the Supporters’ Trust, the club would like to provide further clarification for supporters regarding next month’s fixture against Cardiff City (September 16).
Why is the club implementing ID checks?
The entry procedures are to ensure only those authorised to travel are able to do so, in the interests of everyone’s safety and enjoyment. Based on last season’s fixture, we have put additional measures in place to ensure fans can enjoy the matchday experience by reducing the risk of harm or distress to them, to our stewards and other staff, and to the bus drivers whose services we rely on for this and other away fixtures.
What if I don’t have any photo ID?
If you do not have a photo ID, or require further guidance or assistance, then please email [email protected] and we will be happy to provide information on ID options that will be accepted. If the details on your voucher do not match the details on your ID, then entry will be refused and no refund issued.
What can I take on to the coaches?
Supporters are advised that no bags larger than A4 size will be allowed. Additionally, there will be thorough entry searches and any supporters attempting to smuggle alcohol or other prohibited or dangerous items (including, but not limited to, flares and smoke canisters) onto the stadium site will be refused entry, issued with a stadium ban, and will not receive a refund. Items not permitted into our stadium will not be permitted onto the buses. Please see Ground Regulations HERE.
Can I purchase any food and drink at the Swansea.com Stadium prior to departure?
Food and soft drinks will be available to purchase from the concourse and these can be brought onto the buses. There will be a range of snacks and hot food (pies, chips etc including vegetarian options) available, as well as hot and cold soft drinks.
Will there be any toilet facilities at the Swansea.com Stadium?
Yes. Following feedback from last season, we are opening the West Stand concourse toilets and kiosks prior to supporters prior to boarding the buses.
Can I take food and drink on to the coaches?
Food can be brought if it fits in an A4 sized bag, however we are aiming to make the search and entry procedures as efficient as possible which means proportionately limiting what people can bring. Supporters can also bring an empty water bottle which can be filled for free at the kiosk in the concourse prior to departure. Anyone with a medical exemption will be able to bring what they require. Please contact [email protected] to arrange this.
Will there be a service station stop before arrival at the Cardiff City Stadium?
Coaches will be stopping at Junction 33 Cardiff West in order for ticket exchanges to take place.
Can I pass a ticket purchased in my name on to a friend or relative?
Tickets purchased are non-transferable as the club is operating a priority order for our sales criteria. Supporters are unable to purchase a ticket in their own name and then pass it on to someone who is not a season ticket holder or Jack Army member as this would essentially allow them to jump the queue and gain access over others. As the ticket office will be open on the Friday before the Cardiff game (September 15) to allow supporters to collect any reprinted vouchers that have been lost in the post, we will also allow supporters to claim a refund if requested. This can also be done by contacting the ticket office via 01792 616400 (Option 1) or [email protected].
Tickets for this fixture are now on sale.
