Kick Childhood Cancer Teddy Bear Toss FAQ
Real Salt Lake will be celebrating its annual Kick Childhood Cancer Night on Saturday, August 26, in addition to hosting its second annual Teddy Bear Toss!
Last year, a new tradition was born at America First Field when thousands of RSL fans threw plush stuffed toys onto the field after Real Salt Lake scored their opening goal on Kick Childhood Cancer Night.
This year, the Club looks forward to repeating this special moment, and giving back to the community with our fans. Fans who wish to participate in the Teddy Bear Toss are asked to bring new\ soft stuffed plush toys.
We ask fans not to bring:
We ask this because we don’t want any fans to be injured by a stray toss. We ask for our fans to follow these instructions and not ruin this experience for everyone else by throwing anything besides a soft stuffed push toy on the field.
The Teddy Bear Toss will occur:
OR
Once RSL scores or the halftime whistle is blown, RSL fans are encouraged to throw their stuffed toys onto the field in unison to celebrate Kick Childhood Cancer night.
If fans are at the stadium but miss the Teddy Bear Toss, they can still donate stuffed toys to the RSL Guest Services. If you’d like to donate but won’t be at the game, fans can drop off stuffed toys at the West Main Lobby of America First Field until August 25.
All donations will be sent to various charity organizations including the American Cancer Society, UofU Health, Ronald McDonald House, Best Seat in the House and more.
We can't wait to share this special moment with all of you. If you haven’t gotten your tickets to the match yet, you can purchase them source=rslticketing&utm_campaign=article">here.
